Description
Writing to Heal – with Meg LeDuc Chorzempa. Zoom Workshops, Wednesdays, October 8, 15, 22, 29, Nov 5 & 12, 1pm – 3pm. This class offers a safe, supportive space both to process trauma and to create art that transcends that pain. Using reflective prompts, participants will explore their experiences through creativity, guided by sensitivity and compassion. This class emphasizes expression over perfection, using writing as a path toward resilience. Meg LeDuc Chorzempa is a graduate of the University of Michigan and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She is a trained support group facilitator. Her personal and lyric essays have appeared in Brevity, Mount Hope Magazine, and Cleaver Magazine, among others, and essays are forthcoming from Third Coast Magazine and The Progressive. A 2024 Cleaver Emerging Artist, she has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and received a Bread Loaf Katharine Bakeless Nason Participant Scholarship in Nonfiction. www.megleduc.com REGISTER HERE
